Manchester Projects Round Up
We get an enormous amount of emails at Skyscrapernews about major projects, particularly the Eastgate Tower in Manchester.
The general feeling amongst people who write in is that the city has lost some of its momentum that's been built up with the construction of key landmark projects like the Beetham Tower and even GN Tower.
To counter this pereception here's a look at just what is going through the development pipeline and the status of each of these projects with what we expect to be built in the rest of 2007, what might be built, and other schemes that are unannounced but could pop up.
To suggest however that Manchester doesn't have much going on couldn't be further from the truth. As this list shows that it is set to maintain the lead it has as Britain's second skyscraper city after London adding more to a total number of high-rise buildings rapidly approaching the 400 mark according to the Skyscrapenews.com database.
